The Gallery at Labo is a space created from the founder’s vision to make art an easy, natural part of everyday life.It was built on the idea that art shouldn’t feel distant, complicated, or reserved for those who ‘understand it.’ Instead, the gallery invites visitors to experience art in a way that is clear, welcoming, and grounded in real living. It is a place where thoughtful, well-crafted works can be seen, appreciated, and understood without pretension - where art simply becomes part of living well.

For artists, The Gallery at Labo offers an uncomplicated platform to share their work. The application process is transparent, exhibitions rotate every six months, and expectations are clear. The gallery seeks artists with a dedicated practice. Individuals who work with depth, honesty, and intention, and who have something meaningful to say through their craft.

About the curator

Niha, curator of The Gallery at Labo, is an expressive abstract artist and art therapist with over fifteen years of practice.

Her work explores texture, memory, and emotional presence, often layering fragments from past paintings as a way of understanding how experience accumulates and transforms.

Her artistic philosophy is grounded in expressive arts methodologies and in her long engagement with themes of anxiety, healing, and the emotional landscapes people carry.

Her work has been exhibited across group and solo settings; she consistently sells her art online, teaches expressive arts, and has previously curated a group exhibition.

As a curator, she focuses on clarity, emotional resonance, and approachability - helping visitors engage with art without feeling intimidated, and supporting artists in presenting their work with simplicity and confidence.
