The fourth edition World Championship of Shoemaking, organized by Jesper (Shoegazing Blog), Justin Fitzpatrick (The Shoe Snob), Kirby Allison, and Gary Tok (Master Shoemakers).

Competition Overview:

This year's competition centered around the Balmoral Boot, challenging 29 shoemakers to showcase their skills over a 5-6 month period. The result was a display of exceptional craftsmanship, setting a notable standard for bespoke shoemaking.

Traditionally crowned in London, the winning shoes typically tour cities such as Paris, Stockholm, NYC, Tokyo, Singapore, and Shanghai. For the first time in India, this prestigious event extends its reach to Chennai, providing a chance for local enthusiasts to witness these works of art.



Event Highlights:

Bridlen will host these shoes at an open event at The Folly, Amethyst, on December 8th, 5 pm - 8 pm, where you will have the opportunity to engage in a quiet evening of conversation and observe first-hand the craftsmanship demonstrated by the top three bespoke shoemakers of 2023.
